Tonight marked the final Muffin Monday of 2009. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this festive weekly event, every Monday night a group of dedicated muffin eaters gather in Apartment 206 to feast on muffins - tasty scrumptious delicious muffins!
Last night, as I was attempting to study for finals, I decided to pop Planet Earth in the DVD for the first time in a long time. As I laid in bed watching lemurs gallivant around the great Baobab tree, I began to ponder a lot of things…
Then, I remembered that the final Muffin Monday was coming up! So, I began to brainstorm about how to combine the greatness of Planet Earth with the joy of Muffin Monday. And all of a sudden, like a lightning bolt, the perfect idea struck its way into my head! Planet Earth Muffins!!!
With the help of my lovely Suos-chef, Emily, we were able to combine blueberry muffin mix, pineapple, blueberry yogurt, and blue and green food coloring to create a masterpiece of muffin history.
This was a great 24 hours for me as I rekindled my love for Planet Earth, decided that I’m going to film school, and, of course, got to enjoy muffins!!! Thanks Mugz ‘n’ Muffins Monday crew for a great semester. I’m look forward to what baked goods next semester holds.
