Exciting news for IJM followers - they’ve just created a new film titled “At The End of Slavery.” This inspiring film is 33 minutes of chilling footage, insightful interviews, and , oh yeah, it’s narrated by Danny Glover! (Mad love for Angels in the Outfield/Lethal Weapon 1,2, & 4 ((sorry 3)) We plan on having an on campus screening here at Lipscomb University in November as IJM outreaches to the house parties around the nation in “The Weekend to End Slavery.” Check out more @ http://www.attheendofslavery.com/
For the anxiously anticipated release, IJM is also holding an At The End of Slavery Trailer Contest through vimeo. I happily accepted the opportunity to get into the mix, so over the past few weeks I’ve been working on this trailer project. Today I finally finished my work and submitted my piece earlier this afternoon. The winner’s trailer will become the official trailer for the film, which is a true honor. Also, the winner will be given airfare and 2 night accommodations in DC to attend the premiere in the historic Tivolo Theatre on September 30th. Online public voting will begin this Saturday at noon, so please tell everyone you know to go check out my trailer and give it a vote!
